Gramoz mountain

Gramoz is the highest mountain in southern Albania, 2524 meters. It sits on the border of Albania with Greece. The hike to the summit is easy with a gently ascent on mule paths and meadows on the left side (northen side) of the gorge at Starje village. The orientation to get to the summit ridge is easy, one just need to take the asccent on the northen side of the gorge that drains the basin from the summit.

The photos below has been taken from Andi Subashi while doing this hike together.

From the Starje village keep up on the stream direction and after ascending through the meadows near the village you will get to this point with wonderful views towards the canyon, mountain and the town of Erseke
